MARTA is an art-house detective story told through piecing together fragments of rescued glass negatives. Produced by Marta Dauliute at MDEMC/Attaché, SVT, Gotlands Filmfond. Directed by Florence Montmare. Support from the Swedish Film Institute, Film på Gotland, and Konstnärsnämnden. In production, planned release in 2026.

play an important part in this unique take on an all-American road movie, through a female lens. With a tapestry of diverse voices — Native, African American, and LGBTQ — the film depicts a turning point for humanity and the environment. Beyond the obvious differences, in the end, there is more that connects us than divides us.
