A Mobile Exhibition by Attaché

In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States on July 4, 2026, marking two and a half centuries since the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence, Attaché presents America Series, a traveling exhibition of photographs, and short film by Florence Montmare.

Conceived as a mobile exhibition, the format itself continues one of the central themes of the work: movement through America. Created during a 7,000-mile journey across nearly 30 states, the series was produced from a mobile studio housed inside an electric vehicle, tracing historic American migration routes including Route 66 and the vast interstate systems connecting the country’s changing social and physical landscapes.

The inaugural presentation will take place at Barrington Hall in collaboration with Wendi Weinman, formerly of Fotografiska New York. Envisioned as an evolving presentation format, the exhibition is designed to travel between institutions, historic houses, universities, cultural centers, and public venues throughout the United States.
